Bender SICURA Planter Box
The Bender SICURA Planter Box is a freestanding vehicle barrier and urban planter designed for modern public spaces.
Made in Sweden, the unit is manufactured from concrete with a 4 mm steel plate shell. The concrete uses slag as an alternative binder, replacing 20% of the product’s cement requirement to help reduce climate impact.
The planter box features a Swedish pine frame, surface-treated for tough climates. Steel components are corrosion-protected to C3 classification and powder-coated for long service life. Powder coating colour and gloss level can be selected to suit each project, with reflective paint also available for improved visibility.
Crash-tested in accordance with ISO 22343-1:2023, the SICURA 1350 × 1350 Planter Box is proven to stop a vehicle and render it inoperable after impact.
With no ground anchoring required, it offers quick and easy installation for active urban environments. It can be used to block or guide vehicle access, reduce vehicle speed, and improve safety in streets, plazas, public spaces, and densely built-up areas.
The unit includes threaded inserts for relocation using lifting anchors and can be moved by forklift. It can also be supplied with an irrigation system or a customisable plastic planter insert for fast replanting.
